The characters it helped, it helped a lot. But the Magneto-Xavier in cahoots for years, working with Mr Sinister and the whole Arakko / ancient mutant business was just not for me.
But everyone has an “X-Men”. For me it was blue/gold. For others it’s always the 80s. For some now it’s Krakoa.
