I'm pretty good at this too. I often have double the anger because I hate they ruined some creative work I loved and I don't want them to win, and it feels like they won. Like I can't watch Usual Suspects anymore because of Kevin fucking Spacey.

Thank you! We were terrified he had it as his lymph nodes were so big and he was so sick. But the tests showed its not cancer (yet), so they will keep monitoring him. He's 79 with Parkinson's so he's not in peak health anyway.

Oh he didn't have cancer, but he has very enlarged lymph nodes so we thought he did. They did tests and it turns out he doesn't - but they are going to monitor him just in case.

Yep, can testify to this. Happened 6 years ago pre-pandemic in the office of my then new job, and was embarrassing. I got in trouble for it as well, and shamed myself. When in fact they had overwhelmed me with too much information for me to process.
