One to switch on some ammo cheats trainers on,I'd run out of ammo waay too quickly otherwise!😅 Alien(s) style rip-off? Maybe. But well executed & you never feel safe & begging for lift to get away from "them"!!👽😱

Much like the original Resident Evil trilogy (PS1),could only imagine if they'd saved all the original renders & seen them on later/current gens in their "full" quality/resolution!
Still get to enjoy the classic gameplay that way!👍

Used to watch some of her YouTube videos breaking down programming some of her old games & of her Interplay days...though I hadn't played Bards Tale or ports like a console port of Another World, it was clear she was very talented. RIP.

Then you remember you haven't written out or printed that docs file that came on the disk with all the jetpack fuel load codes & hope like heck you haven't overloaded!😱😅

Almost like a C128 enhanced cartridge version of The Last Ninja we never knew we needed! 👏🤓

Players: "Cauldron is soo HARD!"
Palace: What? You're "well 'ard" at it? Fine, here's Cauldron II,try & beat it now, bounce, bounce, bounce!🤪☠
Players: 🤯😱😂

Way further in than I ever experienced! 😁 And yet, despite my frightful lack of hair left to pull out, would still be inclined to give it another crack...especially if those retro devs that add rewind features could slip one in!🙏

Yep, forgot to include that, 100%! Can safely pick up the dynamite & the cupcake trap in The House that unleashes the Bubble trap!
Trapping yourself from unescapable jumping areas, the Lift trap etc., still possible!😱🤪
Otherwise enjoy the music & explore!

The best panther.🖤❤🌈

The Italian "Commodore" that has contributed zero to the retro scene other than rebadged Chinese junk tech suddenly asserting they're the "real" Commodore?!🙄
"Remember the days..."🙄😂
Just a reminder how much Escom obliterated what little remained in the aftermath of Irving Gould & co.

High Score Table: I WANT TO CHEAT
And not forgetting the mini boat icon,(or I thought it was a computer chip or something in my youth!)😁
Just don't get too cheeky on jumping lest you trap yourself & can't leap out of certain areas!

Between emulation & gamepads instead of a good old joystick BITD, I couldn't even think to try it without the cheat mode now!🤯😱 Even then it was risk vs reward on what bonuses I absolutely had to collect & preserve lives for inevitable death at the jetpack or (rarely), Sir Clive's C5!

Their contributions to retro gaming? Did I miss something?!🙄😂 Like their "commodore" ever contributed anything worthwhile in the past several years!

Took a while to come after the Amiga port & brings to mind C64 Karateka's slow movements but even on 16bit this didn't appear designed as a fast paced button masher...not many longplays online even!

Despite the years & its simple gameplay, there's something unique about Ghetto Blaster that stuck in my C64 memories as a hidden gem...despite Tone Deaf Walkers, "Pusher Man", Psycho Killers & Khama Chameleon trying to kill me!😱😂

Hard core C64 owners used their school scissors barely sharper than a butter knife!😋

Only played this a few times vs lots of International Karate & IK+. But insofar as the debate of it vs International Karate,I'd simply say both held up very well as the measuring stick vs anything else that came later, remarkable given their relative age!👍

Whilst it could never have the fancy Amiga Intro, did a great job replicating the action of the Amiga game & being hard getting enough cash to afford upgrades or an extra life!😱😅

Only reluctantly updated to 11 from Win10 & would still happily swap both for Windows 7!🤯 Been learning I have to make sure it doesn't turn on cloud rubbish or I can kiss anything I currently have stored locally being moved over! And the A.I. Bloat, yeurgh!🤮

You weren't THAT drunk that the pavers magically lit up underneath though?!😋🤪

Got this & 10th Frame in a school yard swap & despite my initial scepticism of their age (was 90/91?),both games but leaderboard especially just sucked me right in with how easy it was to pick up & play...even setup extra players just to experiment on shots!👍🤓

Still remember how popular the V8 Supercars series of games were on PS2 by Codemasters,(TOCA Touring Cars in other territories).
When they stopped making them by 360/PS3 era it left a lot of upset fans! The rivalries of Ford vs Holden when I was little was the adult version of C64 vs Spectrum!😅

Those early Lucasarts adventures would go toe to toe with Sierra for "death around the corner" scenarios...but let's face it,you couldn't but help it whether buzzing the door or gerbils just to see if you could get away with it!😅
October 7, 2025 at 1:28 PM
This game beat me to submission but wanted to play it more! Never studied an intro sequence so much to try glean any extra playing tips!😅
October 3, 2025 at 2:01 PM
Wanted to like it more,(cracking tune by Ben,RIP)...but felt thrown off by not being able to return to early screens, confused by object puzzles,& the deadly pickups like wine bottles that needed the internet guides to even try it again!🤔
