I remember when the ‘06 changes were added to Disneyland’s Mansion, floating Leota was an instant hit, while Constance was almost universally disliked. Many fans lamented the loss of the heartbeat bride and her pop-up grooms, with some going so far as to create petitions to change the attic back.

Regarding the hanging man discourse in Haunted Mansion… I think it’s a legitimate idea to remove something that could potentially pull some people out of what is supposed to be a fun experience.

I think the interview with Irvine gave us a bit of a peek behind the curtain as to how decisions are made for parks. The comment about how merchandising would have wanted the shop to be bigger and the defense for the AI art…

The new Avengers Reserve shop in Downtown Disney has soft-opened today! It features numerous figures and displays, reminiscent of the former Avengers Superstore in DCA.
