The media types keep talking about the gov now having an opportunity to take risks, but that’s all about the games they want to witness, commentate on & ultimately critique. The rest of us just want the above, and no ‘mini me’ Trumps

It’s the strangest thing (writing from Australia here) to contemplate. A bit corny, I know, but around the globe, Air Force One is a key element of ‘brand America’; a symbol of America’s strength, sovereignty, dignity. No more. Now a sky high symbol of a great country being corrupted; owned.

If you’d just flown into the country, flicked on your hotel TV, to watch the national broadcaster’s premium political program, you’d think the ALP government had lost last week’s federal election.
