Dear lord… No, I didn’t claim it isnt heavier than it’s ICE equivalent (it is), just not nearly as heavy as you made out, and still lighter than most new cars, as the majority are SUV/crossover. My other car weighs 710kg….

Nope, 1150kg vs 1530kg. So, heavier, yes, but not quite as heavy as you suggest. And lighter than most new cars, as it’s small, and the majority of new cars are SUV/crossover in all drivetrains.

There doesn’t seem to be any specific data on what categories of EV’s sell in what proportions, so it’s difficult to quantify if your statement of “most” is correct (ours is a Vauxhall corsa E, so isn’t…).

Not overjoyed by the 3p/mile EV tax, which seems rather counterproductive of the whole effort to get people driving EV’s. Otherwise there’s some tax rises that affect me, but I’m less upset about them as I know they are necessary

There has been some talk of the opening of investigations into prominent democrats would enable Trumps team to claim certain files are classified because of this, which could then be used to cover up mentions of him. Not sure if that’s true or not
