I made the distinction between crypto in general and stablecoins because I think that this administration will ironically be anti any crypto that could threaten the value of their stablecoins. Since stablecoins have to acquire US treasuries, it's another way for this admin to manipulate US debt.

Very true...which is why I think Bitcoin's use cases are limited. Personally, I think Zcash is the best protocol to privately exchange value online without permission from any centralized institution (state, corp, or otherwise).
