Really enjoying it so far. Still not sure what the show is, or is going to be, and that’s part of the fun for now. But there’s a lot I like about it so far.

(For the record: I think Breaking Bad is very overrated, and Better Call Saul is still a little underrated.)

Only saw Beatle Bob once after moving to STL, at a basement DJ set in 2016. I heard he was a pain, shoplifted from record stores and tried to bully his way into shows for free—but man, still kinda iconic. I love that my beloved hometown band put out a song in honor of a guy from my current home.

I’ve actually been really digging the weirder, progier structures GBV have been playing with for the last few years, but Thick, Rich, and Delicious is so fun, so satisfying, so beautifully produced—it’s pure power pop bliss, and I’m here for it.
