Getting used to working six days a week after having a flexible uni schedule for years is quite the challenge, as I have found out. T-T

Started working on this crow painting back in 2021 (left). Today I sat down and finally put my acrylics and paintbrushes to use again (right).
It's looking a little messy, but I feel like I made good progress and have an idea how I want this painting to look in the end.

A bit weird to think that I've completed all my modules. I've only my work placement and my thesis left to do.

Finally made a rat out of beads yesterday. Didn't have brown beads for a hooded rat so I decided to make a rainbow one instead :)

Why aren’t some eggs egg-shaped?

The unusual pyriform (long and pointy) shape of guillemot eggs has caused a lot of discussion among scientists - and as always, it comes down to egg-volution.

Find out the point of these perfectly peaked eggs in this week’s #SurprisingScience 🥚🏔️

Michael Morpurgo's "Cobweb" was such a lovely, quick read.
I'm normally not really a fan of a first person point of view, but for this sweet story, it was the perfect choice. And the illustrations by Michael Foreman are lovely.

Today I read "The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown. I had to put the book down so many times to wipe my eyes 😭!
It was so good and beautiful and heart-wrenching! I think especially because I love nature and found family it ticked all the right boxes for me.
And the illustrations – so adorable!

Also as an addition; sign this petition ASAP if you're someone in the UK.

Rather than just sitting around and doing fuck all, we need to make it clear that this Bullshit OSA won't work. Ever. Nor do folk fucking want it.

Contact your MPs about the bill too.

Bought a postcard set just for this beauty of a car.
Since I have still been unable to find anything with Siegfried's Rover, I continue collecting cars that look sort-of like it but aren't, haha
