(19/20) Bunn Bunn & Jacky for wind quintet. My coworker has some rather whimsical cats and I felt inspired to write some music about them. I've never actually met them in person.

(18/20) Echos of An Unsaid Goodbye for Oboe, English Horn, and Bb Clarinet. I'm not entirely sure what inspired me to write this other than I thought it would be a fun instrumentation!

(17/20) Shadows in the City for Contrabassoon and Pre-recorded audio. This piece was a part of a larger art project where we all made a piece of art based on a prompt. The prompt revolved around a homeless individual who has a food allergy but can only find the food they're allergic to.

(16/20) Manipulative Memory for Baritone Saxophone, Bassoon, and backing track. This piece explores a raindrop with separation anxiety. It was a lot of fun to write something that is intentionally supposed to be a little weird.

(15/20) Pedals and Promises for orchestra.
I wrote this with the goal of being both exciting and accessible to a non-professional orchestral musician. It was fun getting to explore what that meant in an orchestral sense.

(14/20) Gopher Under The Green for oboe and contrabassoon. This is about a couple of gophers who discover that their home is being turned into a golf course and decide to launch a gopher rebellion. I listened to a lot of gopher sounds for inspiration, and it made some exciting melodic content.

(13/20) Bison Moon for Contrabassoon quartet (or bassoon quartet). The contrabassoon felt like a wonderful medium to represent some bison in the Colorado wild.

(12/20) Charlie's commission: Deukalíōn & Pyrrha for Flute and Bassoon!
Based off of the greek myth it shares a name with this was a delightful piece to write. I learned a ton about ancient greek music theory thanks to @lore_iso.
Be on the look out in the next year for a performance from Charlie!

(9/20) Transmorgrify for Solo Contrabassoon and bassoon trio.
Based on the themes in Kafka's The Metamorphosis, I am asking the performer in the notes to wear a cockroach costume to fully immersify the vibe.

(8/20) A Whale of A Piece for Trombone and Piano. This is my own interpretation of the whales and other sea life in Cape Cod's waters. Yes, the trombone does make whale noises of whales from the Atlantic
