Now off the treadmills and tightropes, still tinkering with the cogs and wheels.Accountabiliy in government. Forever unions. FN sovereignty.
Good luck getting that through Congress. It'll be a whistle-stop through GOP ranks, who happen to have majority.

Gina's got nice $2ph job waiting for him.

I'm not offended that he has revealed his narcissism and shown what an absolute fool he is. Yes, he disrespected a religious leader, but he disrespected the USA even more. No other world leader would embarrass their own country like this.

To me, yes he has. Not in an overt bragging manner. More like in how he can disregard or ignore alternative views

Looking forward to sane perspectives on the result on The Sunday Shot tomorrow.

Hahaa, it's rather overdone. I'm concerned about what the hubris of a majority government will mean. I don't think he handles hubris well.

For me, that was a major outcome of the election result. Despise Murdoch media.

Agree, he became a cult figure after introducing computerised analysis of election results some years ago. Somehow that got translated into his current guru status. Undeserved imo.

Clever choice of quotes. Loving your reprise of the inimitable pair.

Kinda looked that way.

One of your very best, an iconic take. And thanks for your perceptive and entertaining work.

So low-key it almost feels like the election is a non-event, and the campaigns planned it that way. Softening us up for longer terms of office? Nahhh.... that's conspiracy talk.

Seems lazy and inefficient to me to identify age groups as the demographic to analyse voter intentions. Every age group is diverse, and the diversification increases as they reach higher ages. It's a factor to include, sure, but meaningless on its own.

I read this all the time, it’s hard to not get pissed off.
I was born in 1956, that makes me a boomer, I have never voted Liberal, never would, neither do any of my BOOMER friends, family brother or sister’s -
I’m on an AP, no super female and rent.
Nothing out there for me but I’m the problem!

I’m not from Queensland but when reading about Duttons and his wife’s investments one was a small shopping centre in a Townsville suburb. It was no longer maintained under their ownership and became dirty and dilapidated affecting the small business owners and customers. Council Sale enforced

So right. Its a cheap reporting strategy, doesn't qualify as journalism. What's happened to Aunty? It used to be a standard-bearer for journalism, now it's a sad tabloid

My NRL-loving DIL has a visceral hatred of Melb Storm. Now I understand why. A fish rots from its head.
