Platforms that blanket ban instead of enforce better content moderation or tools for content creators, they have to capitulate to the laziest users and the worst of censorship by the worst of governments. It will happen.

It won’t matter if it’s consensual in context, it won’t matter if they are depicted even moderately safe/questionable. The ban will come.
It has for other platforms, and the way our government wants to do things, federally for everyone.

The fringe stuff like this is usually swept under the rug “oh, well who wants that stuff anyway??”
Brother, please just look at other platforms, and definitely look at the way things are rolling. This is not the last change. There will be more. Fictional or artistic, won’t matter.

Games are not groceries. Games are stories in a library, experiences in our lives. They're memories we share collectively together.
If people can't preserve that, the medium will eventually die out altogether as an expense no one can afford.

If these companies genuinely want to argue "well, we can't let you do that." Well, enjoy scratching together a functional copy of your previous works in 50 years when copying games isn't legal and all our games are up and gone 2 years after launch because the game uninstalls automatically.

If somehow you do see me at a con or event, it’s fine to talk to me, just know I’m not great at it.
I do appreciate when people make the effort to talk and say hi and whatever at events. Pretty rare, but I do enjoy it when it happens.

I just often figure “they don’t care about what I have to say, so why bother them,” and I just don’t talk to anyone I don’t already know mutually
My partner does push me sometimes when she notices, but I usually just don’t engage with others I’d like to.

I do push myself more these days, but I know my friends and family are fine with it. Online isn’t too hard since typing things out isn’t as invasive as conversations in person.
Whenever I’m at events/cons, I do still struggle a lot though.

There's a roadway nearby that is 30mph and 25mph, but because it's built with long straight ways without stops or lights, people blaze past me (even if I'm going 35 in a 25) pushing easily into the 50s. These are residential areas too.
Roads just aren't done well here in Maryland.

The strangest thing to me is how much a bunch of randomized fake speeding cameras would actually slow down drivers more than the real ones do. Everyone in the DMV area speeds on highways like I-495 or I-270, unreasonably so (75+ on a 55 is average). It's a mindset problem of the drivers.
