The paper is underway and is almost complete. I should be able to complete it by tomorrow, hopefully. Afterwards, I have to give a 10-minute presentation... to no one. I don't know why these profs are so insistent on presentations when we don't present to anyone >.>

I thought the owl character in Gunfire Reborn was a meme for his ability being super long. Well, a new record, the lion character. This game has evolved into a fighting game, requiring you to remember all the movesets lol.

Omg...what are you doing prof x.x. They keep changing the deadlines of discussion posts and the titles, so now I don't know what I am supposed to track as far as my submissions and grades x.x. For example, I submitted D3 two weeks ago, but now D6 has become D3, and D6 is no longer available.

You know things are about to get worse when they start hiring way more offshore than US employees in my workplace. It's gonna come all of a sudden to some, but since the beginning of the year, our work has more than doubled since the beginning of this year. That should tell you how housing is.

I don't really know how best to put this without any context, but cons have lost their charm for me. From my perspective, all I see are friends having to handle other people's bad decisions and then they get all the shit for other things out of control.

I've been reading "I Cheerfully Refuse" by Leif Enger, and even though it is somewhat parallel to our world, I still enjoy spending time with individuals, even though everything is burning around us. I know I don't reach out often, but I still think about all our con adventures over the years.

I also found out last night what's going on with my hip from the MRI I had Thursday:
"There is suspicion for right acetabular labral tear in the upper outer aspect. Cam morphology could predispose to impingement."
At least I have an idea what is going on now. Now to wait for doc follow up.

Finished the hackathon today with my team. We ended up not placing. It's kinda hard to know what you did wrong when you aren't given feedback. Time for a big drink.

These past 2 weeks have been cramming a bunch of writing. I finished a 20 page review on current payment systems, and I have to do another 10+ pages in two weeks again 😫. I don't know how this prof expects us to read all these chapters, other assigned readings, AND have this paper done.

I swear this one manager looks at my calendar and sees when I have PTO to then send the day before a slew of emails and tickets. It's every time. This is not a coincidence. It's literally every time I go on PTO. I'm not doing all this anymore because even when I complete all these, no responses.
