Photo of archway entrance to the secret garden… but it’s closed due to waterlogged grass. So I’m benching in a quiet spot near the open air theatre.

Got the front seat of the DLR to Bank from City Airport. They even have pretend driver stuff for you to play with. Was rather tempted by the Woolwich Ferry Horn! Toot! 👋🏻

I’ve never used an Uber (is that weird?!) I’m 100% walk, bike and public transport. I’ve never owned a car and so don’t think of it.
DLR was perfect. Nice walk up to Moorgate through the City. Elizabeth Line running smoothly and a lovely walk home.

Gull didn’t arrive for breakfast this morning and so she’s probably left for her winter holiday. I like to think of her in Denmark.
Went 40 mins over the lake to village and all the gulls have gone, even near the fishing boats.
The swallows are still swooping and lots of mergansers about.
