this interview alone should cause pause for thought about whether the IHT changes are right. Apparently he bought the farm so he could shoot and avoid tax and he’ll avoid future tax by creating a trust. That’s not your typical farmer or at least not representative of my families farming history

I’m conflicted on the IHT farmer issue I’ve no problem with taxing Clarkson, Dyson etc or those on this list. But struggle with farmers with a medium size family farm with a bit of livestock and equipment doing their bit to make a living and wanting the next generation to be able to carry on
