I see where you’re coming from but I think plan A does work for us the vast majority of the time (and by hook or crook did yesterday too) so can understand not adapting style of play/positions too much. Havertz would just need to be better than Gyokeres and Merino to make a big difference.

Jesus could go either way post-injury, Havertz I think could provide something of a spark (words I never thought I’d hear myself say!)

Rice and Zubimendi both look knackered at the moment, obvs Merino has had to play up front but Norgaard needs to be trusted more to start games so the starting two don’t burn out. Gyokeres I’m afraid we have completely done our money there, like watching Johnny Bravo trying to play up front.

The performance yesterday was completely unacceptable and thankfully I think the manager is on the same page as me and you with that opinion! My growing worry is teams seem to have allowed Phil Foden to start shooting from the edge of the area again…
