Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 a lot here recently. Doing a crowdkilling Shadowrunner build. It's so fun to be able to take down enemies with quickhacks without ever entering their compound by controlling cameras.

This is why I keep my my save data local. I don't trust cloud tech. The cloud is just someone else's computer after all.

The fact that it's a on and off thing without the perps getting caught makes me think a government is involved. No hacker groups taking responsibility or anything like that. Could just be they're smart, but like I said it keeps happening with not that much time in between DDoS waves.

Well, you brought up the comparison to Fallout 4. Which, yes that's extremely fair, but it's for different reasons. It's not that Bethesda didn't have the money (at least then) to give Fallout 4 another year in the oven, it's that they chose not to. Team behind Outlaws... was never at that table.

I don't think it's really the dev's fault on this one. I don't think it's the same story with Bethesda just being unable to put out a competent game. The devs of Outlaws clearly give a shit about the Star Wars universe and it's lore. Just another case of bad management and corporate pressures.

It's called the game is trying to test you on it's mechanics and concepts and if you fail that test, you get to do it again and again until you pass the test.
