She's only 11 weeks old and 8kg (17.6 pounds). Her paws tell me she's going to be huuuuuuge! Once winter ends here in Melbourne — I'm assured it does sometime — I'm so looking forward to getting this girl on the beach!

I've been in the thick of other day care related illness which afaik hasn't included COVID so far. Anyway we had our appointment with Santa at the big department store yesterday afternoon, and obviously had to miss it. That's the worst of it. We're on the mend.

Yesterday started with my 3 year old running a 40°C fever not responding to medicine, coughing, aching, miserable, and on the drive to the urgent care clinic, developed a rash covering her face, arms and torso 🥺 When they swabbed her throat and nose, I didn't even think of COVID. Somehow.
