Short answer : you're not.

Well, of course, yes, as soon as the court says it is. The court might say that. It depends on which court.

What does that have to do with your being black?

I don't agree. Both candidate A and B are lying and are a whole lot more alike than different.

As long as Trump didn't approve, I'm happy.

The Dems are more afraid of the Democratic Socialists than they are of the Republicans. They would rather see the Repubs win than the Democratic Socialists.

The problem is once we hit the balot box on election day we get exactly two choices, R and D. Limiting the D just makes us either walk out not voting, throwing away our vote on some third party or writing in Micky Mouse. I've done all three.
February 8, 2026 at 7:06 PM
If that's what happens.
February 8, 2026 at 3:54 PM
Yeah, it embarrasses me too. I remember the army differently. Sorry it has turned out this way. Hope it's soon over.

Love it. 1789 wasn't much fun, but it turned out OK in the end.

Your eco looks like my eco. Fits my personality. Long on function, short on looks. It just writes like a fountain pen. Every time. I love it.

My experience also. Run debian since forever. Don't have problems with the OS. Program in python, no games.
February 7, 2026 at 10:21 PM
My experience also. I've been running debian on everything since 2000. I have no idea what running Windows might be like. I guess I'm too simple to complain. But then, I don't play games. Never wanted to.

What am I talking about. I didn't have fun in middle school.
February 7, 2026 at 10:02 PM
The answer to the Republicans is not and never was the Democrats.
February 6, 2026 at 3:31 PM
I write in a used book store too.

Mandani may be an example of "new" Democrats. We have to keep the two-party arrangement as long as a plurality wins elections. So take over one of the two parties.
February 5, 2026 at 9:39 PM
That can only mean that money buys elections. The remedy is education, an "enlightened" electorate which will not vote with the money. The money becomes worthless when it no longer buys elections.

The new word is terrorist. We are apparently terrorizing ICE. I only wish it were true.
February 5, 2026 at 3:10 PM
Probably too late.
February 4, 2026 at 2:38 PM
We the people enforce the law not some outside group of specialists. The law is just words on paper unless we want it enforced.
February 4, 2026 at 2:33 PM
I stop listening when I hear "GOP says". Nothing after that has any meaning.
February 4, 2026 at 2:19 PM
I hope some of us read it.
February 4, 2026 at 2:13 PM
Yeah, and who's on the ballot also matters. No progress if they're both crooks
February 3, 2026 at 9:41 PM
I wish they had something better to offer than just not Trump.
