New interview is available to watch on my YouTube channel! I got to sit down and chat with cinematographer Powell Robinson about his work on the VHS Halloween segment “Coochie Coochie Coo”! It was a blast to nerd out with him about found footage filmmaking.

V/H/S/Halloween is possibly the most violent installment in the franchise! It’s fun, bloody and downright disturbing at times. The kids are not alright, and no one is safe from Halloween terror. The perfect October treat for horror fans!

Shelby Oaks is a creepy, disturbing and tense feature debut. The film is packed full with dread and chills around every dark corner. A cocktail mix of Lake Mungo, Blair Witch and Hereditary.

About to get spooked. Been anticipating this one for a long while, now seated for Shelby Oaks.

One of my favorite things about Life of Chuck is how it tackles the idea of “settling” with a career. There are so many people who are insanely talented and passionate about the arts, but have to “settle” on a “realistic job”. It’s a harsh reality so many artistic people face.

Ok… so it’s been so long since I’ve last seen this that this was basically a first time watch… holy HELL!

Possibly in my top 5 zombie films of all time.
This rewatch has been a long time coming.

Organized my movie collection during the move and found a bunch of repeated/upgraded titles. So let’s see what I can get at Movie Trading Co. for all of this.

Now seated for Unfriended: Dark Web at Alamo Drafthouse Terror Tuesdays! Been a minute since I’ve seen this one but I remember thinking it was way scarier than the original.

Took a break from the madness of moving last night to check out Dangerous Animals. Holy hell this was a blast! Jai Courtney is a captivating shark obsessed psycho, with a touch of Mark Lewis from Peeping Tom. Bloody, tense, and at times darkly funny. Perfect kickoff to summer.

Sorry if I’ve been inactive as of late, been in the middle of moving. I’ve been sooo behind on things, but the place is really coming together. Pictures coming soon.

Happy pride month to all my LGBT peeps! Friendly reminder that since its earliest days the horror genre has been inherently queer! Anyone inclined to disagree might want to brush up on their history.

Homophobes can stay mad about it.
