When you omit "A Black man is getting a standing ovation in the Deep South for breaking a record of an all-time baseball idol," you completely alter what Scully was describing as "marvelous." Scully was NOT just broadly marveling. He was marveling at a very specific, very important thing.

Thanks, it is unfortunate. Goodreads only has input boxes for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. I entered my Bluesky name in the Twitter box in case people wanted to look me up. It would be nice if Goodreads would add a place for Bluesky, but it's owned by Bezos so I'm not holding my breath.

It's basically an Instagram clone, at least the "social" server is. But there just isn't a lot of people on it yet.
