I see your point there, the level design itself doesn’t exactly help with knowing where to go, especially for such a linear game. Well, I still like the game’s mechanics and story a lot. To each their own!

also you can press tab to lock your camera on where you should go

i get that it might not be the game for you but i don’t think shooting yourself in the foot and playing the game without the main navigator isn’t entirely the devs fault

The end of Half Life: Alyx implies that HL3 will take a different timeline than what Borealis is going for. Unless HL3 still takes place in the arctic, I'd say both would still be equally novel. Either way, I'm excited for both!
