Our little band in the early 80’s used to record home demo’s on a 2-track cassette recorder which very niftily had its own built-in drum machine..we called it ‘Sly’ because it never ever let us down.. RIP 💚💛❤️

I’m posting some of my favourite records this century: ‘Heartbreaker’ by Ryan Adams (2000) and that whole singer-songwriter acoustic vibe that developed from the burgeoning Americana scene late 90s..this is still the high bar, even if it deserves much of the blame for an invasion of pale imitators..
