Was gonna be an annoying “but actually” guy and say sales are probably way up comparatively so it’s not quite apples to apples but (BoTW withstanding) not as big of a multiplier as I expected over the years and a ton of (understandable) variability.

haven't actually looked at the settings! I think most of those affect the behavior when you click into a thread, I'm more just being very nitpicky about how threads and replies are presented on the TL feed. you can apparently just turn replies off too.

but also my main complaint is Twitter will always show the root tweet in a thread, and up to three tweets max in a thread, which helps to follow the conversation. VS Bluesky just shows two tweets max, the reply and it's parent, which makes it hard to know which tweets on your feed are connected.

It's not that I don't like replies it's just the way Blue sky displays them doesn't provide enough context. But actually... after doing a quick assessment of Twitter versus Bluesky Twitter will only show the root tweet plus a direct reply on the FY page. So, you get a lot less junk.

The worst thing about this app is there are three different follow buttons all with different primary colors.
