after talking to some creators about how long form videos have taken a hit since mid august I've noticed on the youtube home screen that shorts take up way more space on the page I haven't actively noticed this change until the discuss arose. Youtube is changing, its sad to see.

It's Sunday, time to take inventory of what tasks were completed last week, refresh the tasks for the coming week and reflect again about the progress and pacing for my game.
At the end of august I created a September todo list roughly for each week so it's not too much work

That video on Loot Tables I've been promising! This is a very important tool to have in your game dev toolkit! It can be applied to so many difference instances not just loot dropping!

It's super important to differentiate working on your game and planning your game.
I like to plan my game before every work session to make sure I'm always aligning with the goal.
Planning can also be separated into broach planning and narrow planning.

when you add something to the yml file and it breaks your github actions... there's a whole story that lies in the commits until it's fixed again🤣

It's a roguelike where the dungeon is in a grid like pattern and you have 3 rooms to choose from each time you open a door (monster, shop or grace) blue prince-like :)

It took 14 days to make this, lmk what u think

every year I become slightly more convinced all professional software needs customizable popup menus + accelerator keys

because only when you have instant access to all tools using software stops being such a chore and you can start playing with it like a kid

games should be categorized as meals and snacks, sometimes I don't want a full 70+ hour full course meal, I just wanna sit down for a 5 -15 min and just enjoy a nice lil snack....
