Also critical thinking isn’t as broadly defined as something like “thoughtful” which u and the student seem to be interpreting it as. It is by definition an attempt seek unbiased, evidence based truths. We don’t have to be dumb about this.

This is a Psychology class for adults. You should not have to specify for each individual assignment that the submitted work should pertain to the subject matter of the class, that is already obvious because of what a class is.

The criteria was show that you read the assigned text and respond in using critical thinking. Please read her response again and tell me whether you can reasonably assume she read the whole article.

Not opposed to other arguments in this thread and don’t think these robots are really a huge deal but I think it’s bit far to act like the robot cant seriously inconvenience anyone, or that it’s the same as any person using the sidewalk…

Idk bike delivery is another alternative. It’s a small sidewalk,would suck ass to be stuck behind one of these on a mobility scooter or wheelchair where u can’t just pop off the curb. Sidewalks require common sense to share, u can see ppl moving out of the way for the robot but it can’t act in kind.
