The Keeper. Enslaved as Avon's Herald, the God of secrets and knowledge. Few have met this man in his centuries long existence, and even fewer written records exist, yet when he appears you can be certain he desires something from you. He is associated with bad omens and ill fortune.

General Llywelyn, Red Dragon Prince of Lyonesse, heir to North Luven. An excellent politician, but affairs of state bore him, making him unpopular in the courts back home. Instead, his time is spent in the saddle, leading his soldiers in a desperate struggle to turn back the undead scourge.

The Black Knight. Standing at an imposing eight feet tall, this dark knight is reputed to be gentle, honorable, and kind. They dutifully serve Ordon as their Herald, keeping balance in a ceaseless battle in an unstable Valen. Oft appearing wherever they're needed most, beating back the undead.

The Baron. The ruler of a lesser province in North Luven that rose to power during the first invasion of the Kaldori Empire. He served as a mercenary, but turned on them when the war went south for the empire. And with the duchy lacking a ruler, he was granted amnesty and an official noble title.

Alessia. Former sworn knight of the Order of the Wolf, and former compatriot of Natalis. She was offered redemption through joining a branch of the Knights of Trinity, the Eclipse Knights, and was personally selected by Lumina to be her herald; carrying out her will on the continent of Valen.

Natalis. The protagonist of Cataclysm and former knight of the Order of the Wolf. Disgraced noble of Southern Luven, and an outlaw. Their greatest shame was their participation in an event only known as the Grievous Sin conducted by his knightly order.
