Did I purchase a toy loom for children? Yes! BUT first, I found an experienced weaver on YouTube who bought it and was able to make a couple of small adjustments to make it work well. I think that's fine. I don't have the room for anything serious.
I've been thinking about weaving and then I got a comment about weaving and I think that's a sign.

Is it a bad time to admit I don't make a huge deal of Halloween and I never have a costume because I kind of live Halloween year-round? I do, however, attempt to do as many seasonal activities as possible.

I went to a local knitting retreat a while back (that has now increased in price so dramatically that I can no longer afford to attend lol) and remarked that there wasn't a single skein of black yarn in the entire vendor room...
