Roy Montgomery told me that he back in the day used to order punk rock 45s from Rough Trade in the UK for himself and friends. His orders sometimes included notes from Swell Maps members Nikki and Epic who worked the RT mail room. Roy Division was his nickname.

Boo! That's a wonderful LP. Like a true "critic" RMJ usually tries to find the negative aspects. In that sense he is similar to Ritchie Unterberger. No wonder they are friends. Both are good information sources, but the passion for their subjects is weighted down by the seriousness of their approach

The complete ‘69 to ‘73 run is indispensable, but Givin’ It Back is the go to LP.
The “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out” 45 released under The Brothers Three flag is quite wild. Perhaps they didn’t want the dope references linked to the Isleys name.
