Fascism, as the song goes, is bound to lose. But believing that—knowing that—doesn’t mean you believe any old strategy will work. I don’t believe Schumerism will work. I don’t believe civil war will work. I favor popular fronts, local & mass organizing, vibrant democratic culture, long haul work.
