Time to introduce myself properly here.

I'm John Opdenakker. I'm Belgian so I love some Belgian fries and a good Belgian beer from time to time. Following me here means you'll also have to tolerate my bad humor.
Let’s try this medium again. Who are the interesting and active posters on here?

Despite my poor AI prompting skills, this image looks quite as evil as the Shai-hulud npm attack, right?

One of the “hated” stocks and often named “Advanced Money Destroyer” is not doing bad at all ;).

When 🤡 🤡 🤡 reign a country
Trump says "We might have to put DOGE on Elon", "DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon", and "We'll have to take a look" at deporting Musk (Avery Lotz/Axios)

I'm my own worst critic. It's tiring. Very tiring...

No matter how much I try to convince myself that "good enough" is okay, I still don't act like it most of times.

I guess it's a long-time learning process.

Recognizable?

Damn man, it's getting terrible recently. I get scam calls from all over the world. Why the sudden influx? Does anyone know/experience the same?

Chatgpt seems very much down at the moment. Does that mean that I need to be creative myself?

The fight - ego clash - between Musk and Trump is both mouth watering and extremely sad.

If you'd bought crowdstrike stock shortly after the incident of last year, you'd (almost) doubled your money.

If you're in Europe and you haven't objected to meta using your data for AI training purposes it's about time. You still have a little bit of time to do so before they start with it.

As this report highlights TU/e (University of Eindhoven) did a good job at IR, kudos to them for that.

Also yet another example that orgs get still hit through the weak spots and that this is often authentication (password/lack of MFA) related. 1/2

‘TU/e acted well in cyber attack, but there are also learning points’
Investigation: perpetrators unknown, they were likely out for ransom.
