Have you thought of asking her GP if they can do some kind of cognition test? Or, take a few steps back and just ask what's a good place to start in cases like these? Health professionals can give advice, or point you to resources you might not have known about!

I live in Canada, went through testing to donate anonymously. Some levels weren't accepted for my age, was denied... I'll apply when I hit the next age bracket. For me, a big reason to do it was that it was important and I knew my job would support me through healing while I needed time off.
