syrup recipe:
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
stir until sugar dissolves, bring to a boil, then lower to simmer on low for 5 minutes
off heat (!!), add:
- 1 tsp vanilla extract/paste
- 1/2 tsp butter(!!) extract
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- pinch of salt

i'm just sad that i wasn't able to get enough footage to slap a video together (there were no marketing displays or anything 😭) for the sole reason that i wrote a whole script (to serve the newscaster fantasy) that will now only live in written/audio format 💀
