It depicts how Jedi once came to TAO long ago, and how the crane was portrayed as a symbol of the Jedi Order.

Being part of Star Wars: Visions Volume 1 was such an honor and a joy. But it was during the height of the pandemic, so everything was done remotely — I never had the chance to meet the team or anyone from Lucasfilm face to face.
It’s still something I really regret not being able to experience.

The design of the ZONAI featured in The Legend of Zelda: BotW and TotK was officially inspired by this Jomon culture.
I recently visited the Idojiri Archaeological Museum in Yamanashi Prefecture and saw a large collection of ancient pottery. These pieces were excavated from geological layers dating back over 4,000 years and originate from Japan’s Jomon period.

I’m currently not working in mech art (embarrassingly), but learning UI/UX while working at a game company—Respawn’s games are a big reference for me, so this experience was super inspiring.
