For most zooniverse projects, anyone can join in with no prior experience, but it's also either stuff that's SUPER difficult to train algorithms to do, or we need human classifications to create training sets. This kinda stuff is definitely one where algorithms can't match humans' skills

We have been asked to support the response with vital data on humanitarian aid access routes, focussing on identifying road blockages and damage to bridges, airports and ports. This will inform humanitarian decision-makers planning supply routes, ensuring aid can reach the people who need it most.

Currently, aid agencies in the Caribbean are working to get support to those who need it the most. Currently, humanitarian organisations are planning access routes to deliver aid in response to the event.

On 28th October 2025, a Category 5 hurricane hit the Caribbean. First, it hit Jamaica, causing huge amounts of devastation, with building and road damage alongside flooding. The storm then went on to hit Cuba, Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
