The 2day varied programme comprised oral & poster presentations from PhD candidates in the fields of hydrology, hydraulics, groundwater modelling, water quality & health, a workshop on proposal writing by Günter Bloschl, intense networking & even a tour boat w/ lunch on the Lake Neusiedl.

Over the past years, Steffen has conducted excellent research, within & beyond the scope of his PhD thesis, and has undoubtedly become a top expert in #modelling trace #contaminants in river catchments. It was thus an immense pleasure to finally celebrate & formally acknowledge his achievements
