As I said, it's just an experiment. I noticed that so many people are trying to grow their account followings quickly by simply following thousands of other accounts. I was curious how blindly people were following each other back. If people will follow this account, they will follow anything...

A lot of people are saying that. I'm hoping that Bluesky will succeed and that real communities will be established here for the long term.

I noticed a troll bot yesterday that was randomly making offensive remarks on peoples' posts just to try and get negative reactions. At the pace it was going, there is no way it could have been human. Hopefully people will also recognize those and block accordingly.

It's just an experiment (with a bit of humor) to see how many followers this account will actually receive. I noticed how many people seem to be aggressively following each other just to get their following numbers up. Is this really the best way to build a meaningful community?
