They control both parties. I don't think they're concerned about the elections. And i don't think it's reasonable to talk about the Republicans losing when it just means the Democrats winning. It's equivalent to saying the "Republican-Democrat" party is losing to the "Republican-Democrat" party.

No, I picked a random account that is an AstroTurf/bot account and am adding everyone that follows that specific account to this list.

In the future, i hope to use a similar (but more nuanced) approach to block bot farms.

Oh yeah-- i should say right here, no need to test that. The list is managed by me. I'm using a script to add you all, but then that's the end of the automation. You'll all stay until i remove you or delete the list. (I'm deleting the list in 8 hours, in the morning for me here in California.)

Yeah, and sorry, computer is running script in other room. It's 1am here so I'm just on my phone in bed. I can tell you the account in the morning (for me).

I'm not sure if I am being rude-- i didn't mean to disparage the real followers and connections you have... I think it's admirable and worth doing if several or dozens or hundreds of people are reading your posts (or even if you just touch one other person). But it's unlikely to be ten thousand.

I feel it would be easier for you to just sign up for a new account. It's not a high score table. You don't get anything for following thousands of bots or having thousands of bot accounts follow you... except a bad user experience.
