If you've followed me for a while, one thing you know about me is that my partner and I have been planning to move to the island of Korčula for ages. Like, a really long time. I mentioned it way back when we were making Blercasts - anyone remember that still?

Things seem to be improving over there right now. Look at the traffic camera now! (I assure you, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the camera, it's just snow and the strong wind from the North)

BTW, I have a little secret I gotta tell you: see that first little hill on the photo next to the husky? A significant portion of that hill is actually - mine. That's where we plan to have our winter home one day ;)

I met a young husky yesterday. He had one 🔵 and one 🟤 eye.
He was way too much chaos to get a decent photo.
He was joyous that there was snow around. I was like, yeah, dude, I know you're a husky, but I'm much happier now!

Promise made, promise kept! Here's a photo of my footsies in the sea today, and you're just gonna have to take my word that the rest of me followed. There was nobody else at the beach at the time, and the sea was sublime and my God, why isn't everyone swimming?

Usually, I'm a big fan of the first 🌨️ of the year. But, my god, it's so extreme here this year.
I was swimming in the (very warm) sea the day before yesterday. It's legit snowing 200 km away now.
It's just too much, too soon, too extreme 😔

It's been unseasonably, unreasonably, ridiculously, infuriatingly warm here for the last 25 days, ruining the entire holiday season for me (that wasn't the only contributing factor).
It seems like it might actually finally get a bit colder tomorrow.

It's been unseasonably, unreasonably, ridiculously, infuriatingly warm here for the last 25 days, ruining the entire holiday season for me (that wasn't the only contributing factor).

This is almost certainly the best photo I ever took of an animal, and it encapsulates Lili's character almost perfectly - that sheet joy and good will!
