So I’ve been a book editor (in training) for a min but now I’m working at a magazine, and getting to experience how the two different timelines implied in each production process—and how those have an effect on my decision making—is fascinating.

It’s time to give this social media machine another shot. I want to open up a little bit and discuss process with myself (and maybe others) in the hopes of finding a new way to write/edit/think. Lofty! And annoying!

Every time I start a new taskmaster series, I go in thinking there is no way the new cast will compare to the previous…and lo and behold, there is Guz Khan

I’m slowly making my way through Ursula LeGuin’s Hainish cycle for the 1st time. The first three novels were fantastic. But now I’m finally reading The Left Hand of Darkness and, whoo boy! To have written something so prescient a full 55 years ago. Incredible stuff! 🪐🚀
