I wrote a simulator for the FFPS YOLO strategy, and this is everything interesting/useful I found. 🧵

The best lure location for this strat is the middle left while using the flashlight to the right.

I love making FNaF tier lists out of pointless information and also not giving any additional context, so this time I'm doing both
Ultimate Custom Night tier list. Notably Old Man Consequences at the top with the tier "He Persists", Nighmare Balloon Boy with the tier "Can jumpscare after 6AM and other jumpscares", Ballora and Rockstar Foxy in the tier "Can jumpscare during other jumpscares", and Plushtrap, Nightmare Chica, and Bonnet at the bottom in the "Can't Jumpscare on last frame" tier. All others are in can/could jumpscare/do stuff tiers.

Happy 1-year anniversary to the first time I analysed FNaF's code 🎉
Reddit debunk post titled "'Tomorrow is another day' on Night 4 - FNaF 4", on r/fnaftheories on January 2nd, 2023. TL;DR "Tomorrow is another day" only appears in the post-night 4 cutscene if you are using a fast enough speedhack, and cannot be triggered in normal gameplay. The Fredbear Plush may have once been intended to speak that line at the end of the post-night 4 cutscene, but Scott decided to exclude that from the final release.

For those wondering what the actual odds of Backseat's double Golden Freddy playthrough are, they're 1 in 395. Not 1 in 2,846 as originally calculated, but he was still very, very lucky.
Backseat originally calculated the probability of getting 2+ Golden Freddy appearances with a binomial distribution with these parameters: (p = 1/100,000, n = 2,675, X ≥ 2) This calculation ends up with 0.0351%/1 in 2,846, but it's actually 0.253%/1 in 395. This strategy makes sense, but unfortunately, is a bit wrong. The first mistake is using 2,675 trials. That is the number of seconds in 5 nights, but because of the ordering of events, you can't actually encounter Golden Freddy on the last second of the night. Secondly, it doesn't take into account the fact that you can only encounter Golden Freddy once a night. A proper calculation would first calculate the odds that you encounter Golden Freddy on any given night, then do a binomial distribution over 5 trials/nights. Finally, as explained in my new video, it was recently found that Golden Freddy's probability is actually 1/32,768, not 1/100,000. The first two errors don't really change the odds much in comparison to this one.

Golden Freddy isn't (and has never been) 1/100,000. Because of a couple quirks with Clickteam Fusion's RNG, he's actually precisely 1/32,768 (and Shadow Bonnie is 1/16,384).

Scott changed, on average, less than 2 things every time he released a patch to the FNaF1 Android port.
He released 7 versions on September 3rd, going from v1.73 to v1.82 (though, because of the microtransaction backlash)
