It was not a fun week, and the backlog that was waiting for me at work hasn't made things any easier.
I'm drained, I would have rather just done a dinner with just my parents and partner. I'm already preparing for the drama that is going to ensue as next year is going to be very different.
If need be I will tell my family they can have dinner themselves & I will host for friends.

She's just idling in the car in a parking lot. We try to explain she needs to start driving so it can give directions but she insists we did it “wrong” & we need to “fix it”. She gets home almost 4 hours later it was a 90 minute drive.

She then tells my partner they have to make her phone work so she can get home. Yes we are apparently now responsible for the boomer maga finding her way home after driving to us without telling us, or asking us. The GPS is set, she gets in her car and then says it wasn't done right.
