Ok, so I’m not a parent, but I would bet all parents feel the same way. Not to diminish your feelings in any way! Just that you’re not alone and it’s completely normal to feel that way 💜
One thing I’ve never forgotten from a psychology class is that “the perfect parent is the one trying their best”.

I miss him terribly. I wasn’t ready for this. I thought and hoped we would live a long life together. His was a short one. Way too short. 😭

He would always comfort me when I felt sad. This time, I can’t rely on him for that. And this is so hard.

Exactly! And even tho my mom tried to help me many times. Her way of doing it didn’t make sense to me and I wasn’t telling her the whole story because of shame. I had to find my own tools to make it work for me.

Overall, I’m only beginning on this budgeting journey. This path that has scared me for soooo long.

But I can already tell you that I am in love with it.

I feel so much more confident in taking control on where my money goes. It helps me spend my money wisely, but also motivates me to go to work.

4. I sat and wrote it all down. I started with last month’s expenses. Going through everything : checking account, paypal, subscriptions, credit cards, etc.

And I did the work. With the tools I had found, I took a little bit of time everyday to figure out how much I needed in a month. (For real)
