spent the morning crying because of a paralyzing migraine but gave a little chuckle when I realized that if it killed me, someone walking through the cemetary might see my gravestone and go, 'huh, that girl died on her birthday." which is a tempting bucket list item.

spent about 2 weeks with 13 other people on a trip to senegal and my largest post-travel-suffering is that I had people around to who listened to my continuous stream of consciousness (for better or for worse) and now I'm like...back? in my own head?

few months ago, I got vaccines for malaria and typhoid for my senegal trip. went to the pharmacy, nice chat, took everything home and dropped it on the counter and went about my life. few days later, figured out that typhoid needed to be refrigerated. oops.

Berlin's popular DDR Museum is opening a "depot" branch this Sunday in a large warehouse space near the Landsberger Allee S-Bahn station, enabling the museum to share much more from their collection than the relatively small space in Mitte can hold.
