ITQB NOVA researchers revealed a way to distinguish between Shewanella species, bacteria emerging as pathogens worldwide. 🦠

The research team identified a gene unique to Shewanella seohaensis, that can serve as a tool to avoid misidentifications in research & diagnostics.
