3 weeks ago I finished the first draft of this bad boy. It needs a lot of work but I'm excited for what the future holds for these three!

I feel like I often get stuck in "the next thing" mode and not taking time to celebrate my wins. Finishing the 1st draft of my 3rd novel is, definitely, a win

The Pitch! When Sylvester Biskup’s former flame and adventuring companion Elsinor Laederiel unexpectedly appears back in his life, his world is turned upside down. At first Sylvester does all he can to avoid his flashy former lover: bury himself in work, plan a succubus’ wedding, and even give dating advice from a delusional bard a try. Then the university chancellor offers Sylvester a deal he can’t refuse: secure a donation to the university from Elsinor and earn the promotion he’s been coveting. One problem: he can barely say Elsinor’s name without panicking. The Log Line: Where one hero's journey ends, his life will begin. The Snippet Another suffocating silence engulfed the space between them. Sylvester’s breath slowed down, his pulse calmed. But his heart still clenched when he thought of the last words that Elsinor had spoken to him the morning after their last tryst. Darling, it was just one night. The Honey Witch is my favorite read of 2025 so far. The prose is lush and use all 5 senses to suck the reader into this imaginative cozy fantasy. The looming darkness in the novel pays off in a jaw dropping finale and I was unable to put the book down for the last 75 pages.
