Wow, that's a big step. I remember our last move. It was very stressful, I love the area although the travel times for shopping and for my wife to the company have doubled dramatically.

I see the problem: WAV is a step below FLAC in terms of quality. While the size increases during conversion, the improvement is only marginal.

If you're using a turntable, try recording in FLAC format. MP3s tend to clip the peaks. Take a look at this software: www.nch.com.au/recordpad/de...

The problem is that artists don't actually earn much from these platforms. Young bands upload their music there to gain some recognition. And there are also some who simply can't afford to buy music at all. So it's always a bit of a double-edged sword.

I usually listen to new albums on YouTube Music or wherever I can preview them. If I like it, I order the album on vinyl or CD. Then it gets digitized and can be listened to on all devices. That way, the artists benefit too.

With age come the bills for a wild lifestyle. Surgery isn't possible until next year at the earliest.

Thanks Ron, I initially thought it was pain from a broken injection that hit a nerve, but instead of getting better, it just got worse. I spoke to my doctor yesterday. She said I should come in today. That was the result of the tests.

Tomorrow afternoon we have a performance at the children's hospice, and I'm not going to cancel it because of this. It will probably be painful, but I can't and won't put the kids through that.
