I think we're really seeings signs of the strain on Sleepy D and signs of the potential for him to lash out and become particularly dangerous.

If I recall the estimates, there were about 1 million people who crowded Yonge & downtown after the win in ‘93. I lived nearby and it was a blast!

I have never heard anything similar about Toronto from anyone in all these years. Like, where did you hang out? If I had to take a crazy guess, I'd say somewhere south of Sheppard, north of Eglington, between about Bathurst & Don Mills.

A quick story: Friends and I convinced a colleague from the suburbs to hang downtown with us. We were walking up from Queen on Euclid or something & she was so nervous. Why we asked. She thought s/o might shoot us from the windows. True story!

Hardly! I'm speaking up for Ottawa. It's not Toronto big but it's a big, beautiful city none-the-less.
