ARTWORK - this is the work of the one and only @koukom.bsky.social, who has been a wonderful collaborator since my first album with @purpleschala.bsky.social all those years ago. I’m so grateful for her talent and friendship!! ❤️❤️❤️

I adore the original. It has been some time since I have listened to the remastered version, I remember thinking that some of the new versions of tracks are glorious, others made some questionable arranging decisions.

Maybe they mean that there are a lot of heartwarming moments. Rather than a cozy game, I think of it as a game with high emotional intensity in a lot of directions.

“The good ended happily, the bad unhappily. That is what fiction means.” FFT is too real for some, I’m sure.

Yep, I think part of what I’m saying here is that I REALLY would have loved playing that session. 😂 Some bias here, but hey.

It would have cost, probably why they didn’t do it. Multiple hours of music, sixty musicians recording dense material, perhaps six minutes per hour. I’m coming up with a rough calculation in the six figures, and I guess they simply didn’t budget for it. But man, it would have been something to hear!

The first time I played the game, Sakimoto’s incredible score jumped out at me right away, and part of what I loved was the lush orchestral writing. Writing like that deserves a live orchestra, and I’m sad that we don’t get a chance to hear it that way.
