The majority of TikToks userbase is unfortunately so focused on quick boosts, short videos that give them a quick laugh or another emotion
And trends are usually better for visibility than posting outside of it
these are the things I learned over the time of using it as an artist

I've learned that static art can boom, but only if you manage to hit certain niches.
It's usually best to present your work in a video format
That can be as simple as having CR clip play and that present your fanart afterwards by filming it and then a static of said piece (as an example)
